Welcome to the website of Putteridge Primary School.

On behalf of all staff and governors I would like to welcome you to Putteridge Primary School. We are a large primary on the outskirts of Luton. We became a primary school in September 2011 following the amalgamation of the infant and junior schools.

At Putteridge we aim to give every child the best start possible to their education. The Early Years are crucial to a child's development and our Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 were confirmed by Ofsted as 'outstanding' in April 2011.

Throughout the school we want our children to enjoy a wide range of experiences which bring the curriculum to life and make learning fun. All our staff work hard to ensure the best possible quality of education for the children in every year group.

Our website aims to give you a taster of what Putteridge is all about along with some useful information such as opening times, term dates etc. You will also find copies of our weekly newsletters for each year group which let parents know what their children are learning about in school, along with suggestions for supporting them at home.
